Carlinville, March 14. - Mrs. Mary Christina Loges, 63, wife of William H. Loges, died at 12:30 p.m. March 14, 1939 at her home three miles east of Carlinville. She had been confined to her bed the last week and last night suffered a stroke.
Decedent was born Nov. 29, 1875, the daughter of Mary Lenth Rieher and Henry Rieher in Brushy Mound township where she lived until her marriage Sept. 6, 1896 to William Loges.
She is survived by her husband and four children, Nellie, wife of Ezra Whitworth, of Gillepsie; Henry, of Raymond; Marie, wife of William Casey, of Carlinville; and William, jr., of Gillespie; twelve grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lena Eichen, of Carlinville; and one brother, Henry Riecher, of Carlinville.
The body was removed to the Wiese funeral home. Services were at the Evangelical church.
Interment was in the Mayfield Memorial Park cemetery.
