Dona J. Jasper, age 71, of 2521 16th St., Two Rivers, died early Friday, Nov. 1, 2002 at the Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers.
Funeral services will be held at 12 o’clock noon on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002 at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers. The Rev. William G. O’Brien will officiate at the service.
Dona was born Dec. 6, 1930 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Wilbert and Agnes Yelmene Lesperance. She attended St. Mark Parochial School and Two Rivers Washington High School, graduating with the class of 1949. On July 14, 1962, she married Ronald Jasper at St. Mark Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Dona worked for several employers in Two Rivers, including Mirro Aluminum Co., Schwartz Mfg. Co. and Paragon Electric Co.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald; one sister, June Wachholz, Two Rivers; and a special nephew, Daniel (Maxine) Wachholz Jr., Manitowoc. She is further survived by two sisters-in-law, Ella Mae Haefner, Sheboygan, and Emma Jane (Jim) Ahl, Manitowoc; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dolores Cudahy, and two brothers, Abner and Gerald Lesperance.
Friends may call at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, after 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday until the time of service at 12 noon. There will be no Monday evening visitation.
