Mathew Douglas Smith-Sexton, age 4 months, of Oneida, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 with his parents at his side. He was born on April 12, 2019 to Jesse Sexton and LaTisha Smith of Oneida.
Mathew was preceded in death by his grandfather Douglas Sexton; great grandparents Milford and Sue Smith.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his grandfather David Smith, Valerie Newton, and Regina Rhea; great grandparents Michael Newton and Peggy Smelcer; aunts and uncles; Jordan and Lashae Smith, Zane and Nicole Rhea, Tanya and Courtney Sexton, Gracie Sexton and fiancée Courtneye, Caitlyn and Colby Smith, a special aunt Niki (Nitnie) Smith; great aunts and uncles Dawn and Sammy Moses, Dewayn Combs, James amd Dawn(Mimi) Smith; special friends Dean and Whitney Dalton.
Friends may visit with the Smith-Sexton family on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 4 pm until the funeral service at 5 pm on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Liberty Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Smith officiating. Music will be provided by the Chitwood Singers. Pallbearers will be Jesse Sexton, David Smith, Jordan Smith, Zane Rhea, James Smith, Colby Smith and Dean Dalton.
Interment will follow in the Peaceful Rose Garden Cemetery.
