Orville A. Denis, age 70, of 1712 Meadow Brook Drive, Manitowoc, died Monday, April 12, 2004 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 16, 2004 at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapel, Two Rivers. Cremation has taken place.

Orville was born April 15, 1933 in Manitowoc, a son of the late Joseph and Ida Robinson Denis. He attended schools in Manitowoc, and also served with the U.S. Army in 1952. On August 27, 1955, he was married to Lucille (Vanne) Halverson in Manitowoc, Orville was employed with Imperial Eastman for 27 years, retiring in 1995, and enjoyed going to rummage sales with his wife, going up north and wood-working.

Survivors include his wife: Lucille; three sons, Arthur L. (Rosie) Denis, Manitowoc; Michael A. (Donna) Denis and Ricky Lee (Kitty) Halverson, all of Two Rivers; one daughter: Elizabeth Halverson –Kulpa and her husband, John Kulpa Sr. of Oconto; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by two brothers: Ernest (Marion) Denis, Manitowoc; and Harold Burt, Mishicot; three sisters: Dorothy Bessette, Wausau; Josephine Wood, Marinette; and Gladys Compton, Wausaukee; nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death
by five brothers and six sisters.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, after 9:30 a.m. on Friday until the time of service at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
