Sudie Beth Hancock

Sudie Beth Hancock, 87, of 2400 Teckla died Thursday.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Horace Coffman, minister of Church of Christ in Lubbock officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.

Mrs. Hancock, born in Abilene, had lived in Amarillo more than 40 years. She was a member of First Christian Church, a charter member of Daughters of the Nile and a 50-year member of Eastern Star. Her husband, Vernon died in 1981.

Survivors include three sisters, Sally Underwood of Ramona, Calif., Ona Noonan of Amarillo and Lily Blackburn of Abilene, and a brother, Debs Bowles of Riverside, Calif.

The family will be at 6410 Andover.

NOTE: Rev. Horace Coffman was Sudie Beth's nephew (Horace Glenn Coffman), her sister Lydia Mae Bowles Coffman's son.
