Wanda Lee Russell, 87, of Calvin, WV passed away at
her home on Thursday, August 8, 2019. Born October
26, 1931 at Tioga, WV; she was a daughter of the late
Howard Virgil and Minnie Gladys Starcher Frazer. She
was also preceded in death by her husband, Glen
Russell, two sisters, Mary Cathern Clemens and Delores
Josephine Clendenin.
She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern
Star at Camden-on-Gauley, was a former probation
officer, and had worked in various offices in the Nicholas
County Courthouse for many years.
Survivors include one son, Michael and his wife,
Rhonda Russell; one daughter, Terry and her husband,
Randy Long; one sister, Hazel Jean Sellers; five
grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great
great grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday,
August 11, 2019 in the White Funeral Home at
Summersville with Pastor Pat Greene officiating.
Interment will follow in the Fairview-Curry Cemetery at
Tioga.
