Archie Paul Miller, age 66, of Millers Creek, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at SECU Hospice Home in Yadkinville. Mr. Miller was born September 29, 1952 in Wilkes County to Paul Vernon and Ethel Wingler Miller. He was a member and deacon of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He loved his Savior; his church; and his family. Mr. Miller loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Archie was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Hall Miller; sons, Paul Brian Miller and spouse Jennifer, Brandon Miller and spouse Angie all of Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Branson Miller, Racheal Miller, Kelsey Miller, Noah Stamper; his mother, Ethel Wingler Miller of Millers Creek; and brothers, Gary Miller and spouse Darlene of Millers Creek, Ricky Miller and spouse Kathy of Piney Creek, Larry Miller and spouse Pam of Millers Creek
Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Highway 16 North, with Pastor Brady Hayworth, Rev. Phil Chapman and Rev. Brian Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Highway 16 North from 2:00 until 3:00 on Sunday, prior to the service.
