Elizabeth Irene Lopez-Jones, 34, finally found peace on March 23, 2019, after a tragic car accident and 9 days in the hospital.

Through conversation, we know she accepted Christ as her savior, but was not always living the life He calls us to. She graduated from Stall High School in South Carolina, attended Trident Technical College and held several jobs, but her greatest accomplishment was her eight children.

She is survived by her father, Gary Jones, mother, Coretha Ann Lefler and her husband James, brother Lynn Jones and his wife, Tami, brother, David Campbell and his wife, Jennifier, brother Micheal Jones and his wife Whitney, her son, LJ Mitchell, 17, her son Isaiah Jones, 15, her daughter, Karina Lopez, 14, her son Juan David Lopez, 13, her son, Cedric Junior Booker, 12, her son Jahzyah Booker, 11, her son, Corian Lopez-Jones, 8, her daughter, Aries Lopez-Jones, 6, her fiancé’, Robert Culbert, and several loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Johnson City Medical Center that cared for Elizabeth and the family, especially the nurses of 2700, the nurses and staff of 6300 and the nurses with Tennessee Donor Services and Restore Life.

Family will receive friends at Grace United Methodist Church in Erwin, TN from 5:30-7pm on Thursday, March 28. A memorial service will follow at 7pm, officiated by Pastor Laura Tracy, Pastor Donald Mushaymunda, and her brother, David Campbell.
