Patricia Marie Vaughan, age 90, of Lamar, Missouri passed away July 17, 2019, at Truman Healthcare Center.
Pat was born April 9, 1929 in Lamar, MO to Ralph Cecil "RC" Kazee and Lottie Mildred (Palmer) Kazee. Pat graduated from Lamar High School in the class of 1947. On May 25, 1947, Pat married Charles "Chuck" E. Vaughan at Lamar United Methodist Church. They were the first couple to get married in what was then the "New Sanctuary".
Pat worked along side of her husband as a owner operator of Kelly's Package Store in Dallas, TX from 1972 until 1975 when they returned to Lamar where they owned and operated Three Brother's Supply until 1993. She belonged to several civic and social organizations.
Survivors include a son, Mike and his wife Fran Vaughan, Lamar, MO; a granddaughter, Courtney and husband Donnie Dec, Kansas City, MO; a granddaugher-in-law April Vaughan, Lamar, MO; three great grandchildren, Madalyn Dec, Avery Dec, and Chloe Vaughan.
Preceding Patricia in death were her parents; husband, Chuck Vaughan; and a grandson, Brandon Vaughan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Daniel Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lake Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until service time, Saturday at the funeral home.
