Anna J. Evans, 86, of Salisbury Township, died Dec. 27 in the Visiting Nurse Association Hospice at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Paul S. Evans. She was a sewing machine operator for the former Lehigh Dress Co., Fountain Hill, before retiring. Born in Fullerton, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Edna (Mantz) Bartholomew.

She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury Township and its Willing Workers. She was a member of the River Road Fire Company auxiliary, Salisbury Township.

Survivors: Sons, Warren P. of St. Peters, Mo., Donald J. and Richard J., both of Salisbury Township; daughter, Louise A. Stephens of Salisbury Township; brothers, Franklin and Harold, both of Whitehall Township, Frederick of Dingmans Ferry, Pike County; sister, Dorothy Burdock of Whitehall; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton streets, Allentown. Call 9:30-10:30 a.m.Wednesday.
