With profound sadness we announce the passing of
Alice C. Dunlap. She passed away peacefully while surrounded by her
husband and friends on August 5, 2019 at 90 years old.

Alice, the oldest of two children, was born on March 28, 1929 in
Birmingham, Alabama to Earman and Mary Clifton. While working at the
same company in Corpus Christi, she met her husband Cleo C. Dunlap.
They later married in Dallas on July 14, 1962 and were married for 57
years. They spent many years together in Dallas before moving back to
Corpus Christi 30 years ago.

Alice was known to be prim, prissy, polished and proper. She will
always be remembered by her stylish ways and sassiness. She was truly
one of a kind. She had an eye for detail and design and was very good
at making all things beautiful. Alice enjoyed traveling, book clubs,
and being involved in church.

Alice is preceded in death by Mary Celeste Bobo Clifton (Mother),
Earman Collis Clifton (Father), Warren William Clifton (Brother) and
Diane E. Goodson (Daughter).

Alice is survived by her loving husband Cleo C. Dunlap, her son
William C. Benedict (Mary), 3 grandchildren: Stephen Benedict, Brody
Goodson, and Bailee Berry (Matt), 2 great grandchildren: Logan &
Lauren Berry, 2 nieces: Karen C. Grace and Kathy C. Hunt, and a
dearest sister-in-law Virginia Clifton.
