OLATHE CITIZEN DIED HERE; HAS BEEN ILL YEARS

After years bravely battling against death, G. Albert Hattenhauer, well known Olathe citizen, passed to his reward Sunday night at midnight. He had been a victim of tubercular trouble for a number of years, and this complicated with influenza, with which he was stricken last week, so weakened his system that he was not able to longer withstand the disease. His death occurred at Pelkey hospital in this city, where he was taken Saturday for treatment.

Mr. Hattenhauer was a blacksmith, and had lived at Olathe for several years, conducting a blacksmith shop there. He also resided at Menoken for a long time, and was well known all over the valley. A quiet man, who loved his home and his home town he was a citizen all liked, and his death brings sorrow to many hearts. Mr. Hattenhauer was about thirty-five years of age, and is survived by his wife and three children, his mother and tww sisters, Mrs. Seph Hubbard of Olathe, and Mrs. Warren of California, three brothers, McKinley, of Bostwick park, Mark of California mesa, and Alonzo, of California.

Funeral services in charge of Hawley and Burns of Olathe, Monday afternoon. Undertaker C. L. Hawley going down from the city to direct the funeral, and the body was laid to rest in Olathe cemetery.
