Services for Mrs. Nettie Shelton Anderson, age 70 of Grayson, were held December 9 at Grayson Baptist Church with Revs. Wayner Cooley and Julius Russell officiating. Burial followed in Welcome Home Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home.
Mrs. Anderson died Dec. 8 at Glenwood Regional Hospital after a short illness. She was a member of Grayson Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Virgil Anderson of Grayson; son, Mr. James Virgil Anderson of Baker; her daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Faye Hebert of Baker; brothers, Mr. David Shelton of Texarkana, Texas, Mr. Thomas Shelton of Shreveport, Mr. Eugene Shelton of Vivian, Mr. Charles Shelton, Mr. Von Shelton, Mr. Alvin Shelton, and Mr. Sid Shelton, Jr. all of Longview, Texas; sisters, Mrs. Jessie Huffman of Mobile, Alabama, Mrs. Christine Lasyone of Longview, Texas and Mrs. Lucille Evans of Marshall, Texas and 8 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Benny Anderson, Mike Hebert, Wilbur Rucker, Benny Ray Cruse, Raymond Cruse and Billy Wallace.
