TAYLOR, Denise Denise Ellison Taylor, age 54, of Griffin, passed away Friday, February 29, 2008. Denise worked at Hawthorne Elementary School in Clayton County. She was preceded in death by her father, Julian Ellison and is survived by her husband, Edgar Riley Taylor, son, Jason Taylor, daughter, Courtney Bryant and her husband, Joe; granddaughter, Annabeth Bryant, mother, Darlene Ellison; sister, Vickie Cook and her husband, Randy, mother-in-law, Joyce Hughes and numerous, other family including nieces, nephews and those she considered family at Hawthorne Elementary. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 3:00 PM at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Jonesboro with Father Gregory Hartmayer, OFM, Conv. officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Union City. Family will receive friends Monday, March 3, 2008 from 6 to 9 PM at Ward's Tara Chapel. Denise was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend to all. She will be truly missed.
