CHARLES GUTHRIE
November 17, 1941 ~ August 7, 2019

Charles Glenn Guthrie was born November 17, 1941 in Soper, OK, the son of General Stanley Guthrie and Velma (Easley) Guthrie.

Charles grew up in the McCurtain County area and graduated from Wright City High School in 1960. After High School he joined the Oklahoma National Guard.

Charles was known to always have a sense of humor about him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing his guitar. Charles adored his great grandchildren and would save buckets of change, sometimes totaling $20 dollars to give to each one of them as they visited him.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Stanley Wayne Guthrie.

He is survived by his Daughters, Janet (Guthrie) Adkins of Valliant, OK and Dana Guthrie of Valliant, OK;

Brothers, Adrian Guthrie of Valliant, OK, Don Guthrie of Talhina, OK and Larry “Buddy” Guthrie of Broken Bow, OK;

Grandchildren, Morgan Hammons, Donovan Ross and Jordan Adney; Great Grandchildren, Landen, Lily, Ivy, and Daniel;

Special Friend, Johnny Fennell along with many loved family and friends.
