Andrea accepted Jesus Christ while a student at NC A&T State University. She attended Evangel Fellowship COGIC under the leadership of Bishop Otis Lockett. While there, she was involved in prayer ministry and outreach. After her accident, she moved back home yearning for church. She attended service with her brother, Mark, at Salem Missionary Baptist Church where she was involved with prison ministry (where she received an award) and other ministries. Andrea returned to her home church, Tuckers Grove United Methodist under the leadership of Rev. Albert O. Perkins until her death. Andrea had the most contagious smile even when she was in her hospital bed. Andrea’s mind was still sharp as she recognized family and friends.
