Cecil Ray Wilson was born June 9, 1933, in Fort Worth, Texas, to James Nolan and Mildred Earl (Dromgoole) Wilson. He passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in Duncan.

Graveside services are at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma. Military honors will be presented by the Stephens County Honor Guard. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Cecil attended Northside High School and received his GED in 1956. He proudly served our country first in the Navy from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War, and then in the Army from 1959 to 1965 during the Vietnam War.

He was an ordained non-denominational minister who enjoyed Bible studies and researching the scriptures. He loved to go fishing.

Cecil is survived by his three children: Nolan Ray Wilson of Fort Worth, Texas, Ruby Evelyn Wilson of Fort Worth, Celina Josette Lyle of Joshua; six grandchildren: Serena Wilson, Tammy Wilson, Lora Wilson, Nolan Ray Wilson Jr., Jessica Lyle, Melissa Lyle; and two sisters: Barbra Gregory of Belton, Texas and Linda McClellan of Duncan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Thomas Ray Lyle; and brother, James Nolan Wilson, Jr.
