Newcomb, of Chenango Bridge, passed away peacefully while at her summer home in Windsor. She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Helen Blake; brother-in-law, John R. Kellogg. She is survived by her sister, Catharine Kellogg; children, Ellen (Tony) Taylor, John (Lynn) Taylor, Jeffrey (Becky) Taylor, Michael Newcomb, Nan (Gerry) Sabato, Margaret (Nick) Sherman, Kathleen (Fred) Newcomb; 42 year companion, Gary Williams; dear friend and close neighbor, Wayne Galloway; beloved dog, Gracie; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Nancy was a founding member and a Captain of the Broome Ambulance Squad and was employed by the Broome County Sheriff's Department as a matron and dispatcher. She also worked for the Village of Endicott Police Department as a police dispatcher. Nancy had a passion as a scholarly genealogist creating a vast body of work detailing her family history. She was a member of the National Society of the Daughters of American Revolution and Order of Founders and Patriots. At Nancy's request, there will be no services.
