Don Curtis May, who resided near Lavaca, died Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith.
Don was a retired machine operator for Baldor Electric in Fort Smith.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 9th, at McCartney Cemetery in Cedar Creek, Missouri.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer May and Lesa Williams, both of Fort Smith; a son, Curtis May and wife Amanda of Lavaca; three brothers, John David May and wife Serena and Gary May and wife Marva, all of Cedar Creek, Missouri and Ray May of Kissee Mills, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Kurstin Emery, Melody May, Noah May, Britt Owen, Caitlin Owen, Seth Owen, Eryka Bowden, and Michael Bowden; two great-grandchildren, Braxton May and Loyd Owen and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are John May, Johnny May, Eugene May, Jason May, Johnny Wayne Scott, Jeff Gilmore, and Jeff Goodall.
Honorary pallbearer is Alan May.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home in Charleston.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
