Thomas Eugene Avery age 84 died Wednesday July 31st 2019.

Tom was born on June 27, 1935 in Concordia Kansas, as the oldest of three children to Howard Sheldon and Mae Rebecca Avery.

His family moved to Wichita in his youth and in 1956 on the 5th of May he married Donna Ferol Brosius. Shortly after they were married Tom moved his young family to California. In 1962 he moved to Westminster and in 1979 he moved to Irvine. After retirement in 1998 Tom and Donna called Rogue River, Oregon home. In 2017 Tom became a resident of Rogue Valley retirement community where he lived out his days surrounded by his loved ones and friends.

Tom was a kind and loving man. He was adored by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a thoughtful, generous and caring man. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Tom loved him. His passing has left a void that cannot be filled.

He is survived by two sisters Sheila and Patti Avery, five children, Theresa Weber, Debbie Avery, Kent Avery, Michelle Tebbe and David Avery; fifteen grandchildren, David, Chris, Chad, Shane, Cortney, Kiki, Keley, Daniel, Kirsten, Zach, Shawna, Dustin, Christian, Desirea, and CJ; and eleven great-grandchildren, Keagan, Aidan, Gavin, Hailey, Alex, Ryan, Owen, Sienna, Annabelle, Jase and Karter Rae.

A viewing will be from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., August 8, 2019 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors

A recitation of the rosary will be at 1:15 p.m., August 9, 2019 at St. Anne Catholic Church.

A funeral mass will begin at 2:00 p.m., August 9, 2019 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father William Holtzinger officiating.

Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
