Lois Faye McDonald was born to Clyde Spicer and Eva (Wallace). She was a resident of Llano for 45 years since coming from San Antonio, Texas. She was of the Baptist faith and attended the Pittsburg Avenue Baptist Church.

Lois is preceded by her parents, Clyde Spicer and Eva Spicer (Wallace); husband, Eddie McDonald; sisters, Evelyn McCloud, Geneva Gill, Dorothy Van Nostrandt, and Jeanne McDonald.

She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Craven and husband Lonnie, and Lois Laxson; grandchildren, David Laxson and wife Felicia, Dana Dear and husband Miles, and Jana Craven; several great grandchildren and 2 great–great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held August 9, 2019 at Llano City Cemetery.
