Clara "Cherrie" Angelina Farley Richards Bailey, 68, of Bancroft went to be with the Lord August 5, 2019 in Eastbrook Nursing Center after a long illness.
Cherrie was born May 6, 1951 in Charleston to the late Okie Farley Jr. and JoAnn DeWitt. Cherrie attended The First Church of God (Main Street) in Charleston in her younger years. Cherrie had a long working career in many retail roles including, One Stop in Poca, Tudor’s of Nitro, Blasingims Carry out in Poca and Little General mart in Teays Valley. Cherrie was a people person in every sense of the phrase and brought many smiles to many customers over the years.

Left to cherish her memory are loving son, Craig Richards (Johnna Jones) of Eleanor; sister, Shirley Smith (Mike) of Freeman Missouri; grandsons, Craig II and Sullivan "Sully".

In addition to her family Cherrie leaves behind a host of friends and care providers including the wonderful staff of Eastbrook Center in Kanawha City who have been by her side through her illness.

Service will be 11:00am Friday, August 9, 2019 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV 25313 with Pastor Don Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
