Lawrence Earl Schultz, Sr., 92, of Fayetteville passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. He was born in Royal Oak Township, Michigan on January 3, 1927 to Mae and Walter Schultz. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army Aircorp. Larry moved to Georgia in the early 1950s where he met and married Joy Felts Donley. He worked in TV repair before he began his career at Delta Air Lines on October 17, 1956 as an electrician on the flight line.

Larry raised three children, Lawrence Jr. (Buddy), Peggy, and Jimmy. He and Joy moved to Fayetteville from College Park in 1980. Larry attended Harps Crossing Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and his church. Whenever you asked how he was, he would tell you "I'm blessed". He kept his eyes on eternity and know his faith is sight.. Larry loved his family and never failed to let them know.

His funeral service was at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Harps Crossing Baptist Church, with Pastor Dennis Watson officiating. The family received friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM prior to the service at the church. Interment was at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5755 Mallory Road, College Park, GA.
