Mr. Webster served as a sergeant in the Army from 1946-1951. He retired from AE Staley Co. in Frankfort after 36 years as a shift supervisor.
He was a member of the Frankfort American Legion, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
He was born April 18, 1925, in Switzerland, Ind., to Wilmer Sr. and Bertha May (Davis) Webster. He married Lottie B. Smith on August 12, 1949, and she survives.
Surviving are a son, John R. (Peggy A.) of Frankfort; two daughters, Margie J. (Tom) Mosson of Frankfort and Donna K. (Karl) Brown of Plainfield; two brothers, Wilmer (Pam) Jr. of Burlington and Danny Dale (Cindy) of Indianapolis; two sisters, Ruth (Steve) Binnon of Terre Haute and Connie (Lawrence) Smith of Washington; eight grandchildren, Benjamin W. Webster, Brian K. Webster, Brad Webster, Geana Moore, Mitchel Mosson, Michael Pociask, Christopher Pociask and Jason Pociask; and three great-grandchildren.
One brother, Jason, preceded him in death.
