"Jason Lee Wagner was born June 3, 1981 in Santa Anna to Karl Ernest Wagner and Jerilyn Kaye Ewing Wagner. Jason grew up in Santa Anna and graduated from Santa Anna High School in 1999. He then attended Texas State Technical Institute in Waco, studying computer technology. Jason worked at Salient Systems for over eight and a half years. He has worked across many departments as the company grew, starting as a Sales Engineer, and eventually moving into corporate IT. His projects affected the entire scope of the business over the years. He helped Salient Systems grow from a very small business with his knowledge, tenacity, and willingness to achieve greater things. Jason was family to all at Salient and an esteemed friend who had the capacity to bring humor and light into even the darkest of scenarios.

"Jason is survived by his father, Karl Wagner of Santa Anna; his grandmother, Arvella Simpson of Coleman; three uncles, Matt Ewing and wife, Tracy, of Port Aransas, Monty Ewing and wife, Julie, of Burleson and Mark Wagner of San Angelo. Also surviving are seven cousins, Jonathan Wagner of San Angelo, Andrea Creed of Quinlan, Mindy Sikes of Hillsboro, Travis Ewing of San Antonio, Curtis Ewing of Abilene, Lexie Schumann of Voss and Nikki Copley of San Angelo.

"Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Jerilyn Wagner and grandparents, Silas and Jane Wagner, Orval and Elsie Simpson and Jerry Ewing.

"Memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity."
