Barbara Kay Hall Stephenson, age 75, of, Randleman died Friday, August 2, 2019 at Randolph Health, Asheboro.
Mrs. Stephenson was born May 22, 1944 in Wheeling W. VA, the daughter of Homer James and Clarissa Margaret Wilson Hall.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband: Albert Douglas "Doug" Stephenson in 2018.
Barbara was of Methodist Faith and retired from J. C. Penney where she did alterations and worked on the sales floor. She enjoyed gardening and sewing, but mostly she loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by two sons: Randy (Teresa) Stephenson of Randleman and Matt Stephenson (April Lucas) of the home; grandchildren: Kyle (Michelle) Stephenson of Moundsville, W. VA, Kristian (Danny) Tanzola of Randleman, Kaitlyn (Britt) Murdock of Eden, Micah Stephenson, Brayden Stephenson, Shaelyn Lucas all of Randleman; great grandchildren: Daniel, Madilyn, Ryder, Kylie and Fletcher; sister: Charlene Hall of Moundsville, W. VA; brother: Homer (Janis) James Hall, Jr of Culloden, W. VA and nephew, James (Jill) T. Hall of Scott Depot, W. VA.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 5, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at her home.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Pastor Michael Brady officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
