Mrs. Ulrich was born Jan. 30, 1916, in rural Clarence, the daughter of Oscar T. and Ida C. (Swanson) Tribbey. She married Joseph A. Ulrich Oct. 16, 1941, in Watseka, Ill. He preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1990. She is survived by two daughters, Karen (Jerald) Bleich of rural Rankin and Jean (Earl) Lackey of Hoopeston; one son, Jerry (Donna) Ulrich of Des Moines, Iowa; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold Tribbey of rural Paxton and Ralph Tribbey of Kankakee; and one sister, Edythe Moody of Foosland. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Carl, and one granddaughter, Tara Ulrich.
Mrs. Ulrich spent her early years in rural Rankin where she attended the Parker Center School. She was a housewife and for a number of years was employed by Paxton Electronics Components. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Paxton and the Mary Circle of the church. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers.
Memorials may be made to her church or a charity of the donor's choice.
