Louise Burdette Cobb Adams, 86, formerly of North Lake Drive, passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at NHC of Anderson. Born July 28, 1932 in Oconee, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Lizzie Edge Burdette. She was twice widowed, first to the late James Cobb and second to the late E.C. Adams. She was a retired textile employee from Ryobi (Singer) and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her son, James Michael Cobb; daughter, Joyce Ann Hays (Jerry); step-son, Ben Adams (Donna); two step-daughters, Alice McNurlin (Paul) and Lee O'Neal (David); three grandchildren, Thomas Hays (Christina), Stephen Hays (Mandy) and Jamie Cornwell (Chad); six great grandchildren, Caitlyn Reynolds (Daniel), Asheton Hays, Lauryn Hays, Eadon Hays, Michaela Hays and Matthew Hays; two step- grandchildren, Ellen Lewis (Michael) and Caroline O'Neal; four great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter and one sister, Peggy Powell. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Bob and R.C. Burdette and one sister, Inez Alewine. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thursday at Sullivan-King Mortuary with Rev. Paul McNurlin officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park
