Barry Eugene Baker, 58, of Virginia Ave. Bluefield, Virginia passed away on Thursday, August 01, 2019 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, West Virginia.



Barry was born on April 03, 1961 in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Douglas Baker Sr and Hazel Combs Baker. Barry was a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a former member of the Eagles and Moose Club in Bluefield, West Virginia. He was a music lover who loved to sing and play his guitar. He also enjoyed working on vehicles with his son and friends. Barry served his county in the United States Army.



In addition to his parents Barry was preceded in death by one brother Michael Baker.



His pride and joy of his life was his son and grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory is his son Travis Baker of Bluefield, West Virginia; Step-daughter Heather Elswick of Hinton, West Virginia; brother Douglas Baker, Jr of Bluefield, West Virginia; Ex-wife and friends Rhonda Baker and companion Tommy Marrs of Bluefield, Virginia; four grandchildren Brayden Baker, Landon Williams, Hayley Wyndon and Thomas Cook.



Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 06, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Rev. Eddie Day officiating the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
