Don passed peacefully on July 13, 2019, of Haddon Township, formerly of Verona, NJ, at the age of 73.
Beloved husband of Patricia S. (nee Clarke). Loving father of Stephanie N. Reid of Lindenwold. Dear brother of Sister Margaret “Peggy” Reid of Denville, NJ, Susan McGovern (Joseph) of N. Arlington, NJ, Kathy St. Claire of Sonoma CA, Sister Mary Pat Reid of Caldwell, NJ, Francis “Frank” Reid (Mary) of Fredon, NJ and the late Robert J. Reid. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and fur baby Sandi.
Don was a proud US Marine Corp. Veteran, he served two tours during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1971. He worked for the WING Corporation in Haddon Twp. for over 15 years. Don was a huge history buff and enjoyed everything boating & sailing. He once sailed across the Atlantic for 10 weeks through Spain on an 80 ft Yacht. His wood working on boats was admired by many.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation Friday, July 19th from 9:30 AM to 11 AM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Ave., Haddon Township, NJ 08108. His Memorial service will begin at 11 AM. Interment with Military Honors at Camden County Veterans / Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ.
