Son of John & Lovey (Watson) Willey. His death certificates states: "buried on family lot on farm." Occupation: farmer. He married Almina D. Willey, daughter of Isaac & Louisa (Bickford) Willey.
He always lived in New Durham NH, and was a member of the local school board, and held the office of road surveyor. In 1909 he was the first person to receive the Boston Post Cane in the town of New Durham NH. At that time he "had lived a simple, temperate life and his health today is excellent. His longevity he attributes to "heredity, moral habits and outdoor exercise." He has five children, three sons and two daughters."
