Robert “Bob” Edward Means, 60, of Dresden, Tennessee, passed away, Sunday, July 28, 2019 at his home.
A celebration be life will be held at 1 pm on August 5, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church, 154 TN-54, Greenfield, Tn 38230, Bro. David Worley will be officiating.
Robert was born on April 12, 1959 in McKenzie, Tennessee to Virgil Edward Means and Helen Thompson. He graduated from Greenfield High School In 1977. In June of 1982 he enlisted in the Navy and became an Avionics Electronic Technicians. After the Navy, Robert became a corrections officer for serval years, then he became an over the road truck driver until he was forced to retire. He enjoyed spending time with his cat Leo, and spending time with his grandkids.
Robert is survived by his 2 daughters and 1 son, Brandi M Roger of Dresden Tn, Gayle Bounds and her husband Matthew Bounds of Tempe Az, and Aaron Edward Means and his wife Kelsey Means of Yuma Az; 2 grandchild Alexander Bazzel Rogers and Colter Bryan Rogers of Brandi Rogers. His sister Vickie Thedford of Dresden, Tn and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in his death by this parent Virgil Edward Means and Helen Thompson and his niece Linda Kay Thedford
