Evelyn Money Smith, age 76, Gadsden, died Wednesday, October 18, 2000. Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday Collier-Butler Chapel and burial Forrest Cemetery. She was a native of Jackson County and a resident of Etowah County most of her life. She was retired from Cahaba Girl Scout Council. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Elizabeth Smith; sisters, Edith Money and Stell Money Hinshaw; brothers, Joe Money and James Money. Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Whitt and son-in-law, Kim Whitt; granddaughters; sisters, Mary Lou Weaver and Joyce Kennamer; brothers Clyde Money and Lloyd Money. Memorials may be made to Gadsden First Methodist Church.
