Billy Ray Owens, age 72 of New Market, passed away, August 2, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marie Owens; parents Claude and Juanita Owens; brothers Gary Owens and Rex Owens; and sisters Alma James and JoAnn Bailey.
He is survived by his sons, Ricky Gray of Sevierville, Scott Gray of Dandridge, Mark (Denise) Gray of Sevierville, Chris Gray of Atlanta, Georgia, William Owens of Bybee, and Regina Fisher of Bybee; brothers Boone (Sheila) Owens of Morristown and Tim (Sue) Owens of Parrottsville; sisters Linda Dotson of Parrottsville and Norma (Kenneth) Gilliland of Newport; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Manes Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 pm on Sunday in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Troy Duncan and Mitch Woodson officiating. Burial will be at 11:00 am on Monday, August 5, 2019 in Union Cemetery.
