Gladys N. Pemberton, 74, of Kansas City in Clay County, died at North Kansas City Hospital. She was born in Long Lane, Mo., and lived in this area 8 years.
Mrs. Pemberton was a cook for the Bosworth School District for 17 years, and retired in 1964. She was a member of the Antioch Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, two brothers, and four grandchildren. Services were held at the Newcomer's White Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
