90, of East Syracuse died peacefully on June 21, 2007, in the comfort of her home. Born in Syracuse, the daughter of George and Frieda Arden, Edna graduated from Eastwood High School and was awarded a scholarship to the Central City Business Institute, from which she graduated in 1936. Edna was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Raymond Temple, in 1990. She was the bookkeeper of the Temple Farms Dairy stores and Northeast Tractor Sales, which they owned and operated. She was a 59-year member of Collamer United Church, serving as a Presbyterian elder and trustee and was a choir member for over 20 years. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Syracuse Antique Club. Edna was a devoted wife and mother who will be remembered for her strength, courage, quick wit and endearing sense of humor. She enjoyed reading, gardening, bird watching, doing crossword puzzles and participating in family activities. She is survived by her children, Carol (Donald) Turnbull, with whom she resided, Suzanne (Richard) Sangermano of Jamesville, Linda (Joseph) Budjac of East Syracuse and Lake Bonaparte, Richard (Carol) Temple of East Syracuse and Dorothy (Louis) DiMento of Manlius; three grandsons, Darin Turnbull of North Syracuse, Brandt Temple of Denver, CO, and Jarrett Temple of Philadelphia, PA; three great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Sophie and Gager Temple; a sister, Dorothy Sims; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors on the secnd floor of St. Joseph's Hospital, the staff at Sunnyside Rehabilitation Center and the health care providers at Hospice. A private burial service was held for the immediate family at Collamer Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at Collamer United Church on July 1, 2007, at 2 p.m. People wishing to honor her memory may do so by contributing to Collamer United Church Memorial Fund, in memory of Edna Temple, 6865 Fly Rd., East Syracuse, NY 13057, or donations for finding a cure for Macular Degeneration may be sent to Ophthalmology Research Fund 613-311, c/o SUNY Upstate Foundation Office, 750 E.
