She was preceded in death by her father Jack Richards, Jr. and brother John Richards.
Carol was born October 14, 1962 in Payson, AZ. After moving to Dalton, she met the love of her life Dean at 7 years old. She worked at Professional Pharmacy for 39 years. She volunteered for the Eastside/ Eastbrook Athletic Department and with the Girl Scouts of NWGA for over 15 years. Carol was deeply loved and will be missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Dean Ramsey of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Emily Ramsey of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Megan and Bradley Scott of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Chase Ramsey, Jackson Ramsey, Machaela Scott and Isabella Scott; mother, Donna Richards; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Connie Richards; sister and brother-in-law, Jill and Mark Joyce; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Walt and Faye Ramsey; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Brian and Sherrie Ramsey; nieces and nephews; lifelong friends and co workers at Professional Pharmacy; beloved dogs, Lillian and Lucy.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Carol will be laid to rest in West Hill Cemetery.
