The Waterloo Region Record, 24 July 2019:
MUSSELMAN, Clayton Frederick Passed away peacefully at Parkwood Mennonite Home on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the age of 103 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Irene (nee Goodwin) in 2004, Clayton is survived by his children Pat (Ron) Wagner, Gerald Musselman, Roger (Anne) Musselman, Connie Gerlach, Dean (Carol) Musselman and daughter-in-law Gladys Musselman, grandchildren Scott (Melanie) Wagner, Jodi (Peter) Roth, Russell (Windsor) Wagner, Tracy (Wade) Goodman, Lorrie (Dom) Marchitelli, Carrie Musselman, Katrina (Rick) Hooker, Jonathan Musselman (Katie Kell), Daniel Musselman, Trisha Musselman (Shawn Boka), Jay Musselman (Leah McCarthy) as well as 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother-in-law Fred Schmidt and sister-in-law Jackie Goodwin.
Predeceased by his son-in-law Reinhold Gerlach and four brothers and their spouses, Russel in infancy, Edward (Norma), Gordon (Beatrice), Art (Edna). Clayton was a custodian at several schools including Victoria Public, W.C.I., Conestoga Public and later retiring as head custodian from Sandowne Public School. He was a member of Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly. Through their lives, Clayton and Irene enjoyed cottaging in Port Elgin, travelling and attending Christian based retreats. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at Parkwood Mennonite Home and St. Jacob's place for their compassionate care towards dad. Visitation will be at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. A reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room and interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family and donations to Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly, Parkwood Mennonite Home, or St. Jacob's Place may be arranged through the funeral home
