Funeral services for Lorraine Crawford Hicks, age 83, will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Farmerville, Saturday, September 30, at 12:30 PM. Officiating will be Fr. Adrian Fischer, OFM; and Fr. Nicholas Onyach, OFM, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Internment will be at Liberty Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday morning, September 30, from 10:00 – 12:00 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Mrs. Hicks, a resident of Farmerville, formerly of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, September 28 at St. Joseph's Nursing Home in Monroe. Mrs. Hicks was a founder and life-long member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She served on many committees in the church and assisted with CCD (religious education) classes. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Mrs. Hicks loved to cook and sew for her family providing them with a loving home environment for 60 plus years.

She was preceded in death by husband, John Lee Hicks; parents, Henry Warren and Edwardine Ladnier Crawford; brother, Emile Crawford; sisters, Katherine Ryan, Yvonne Brune, Emily King; and son-in-law Wayne D. Dunn.
