Judith A. “Judi” (Byers) Hopkins, age 64, of Faribault died on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault on Friday, August 9, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Brandon Theisen officiating. Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.
Visitation will be at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also at church for one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Judith Anne, the daughter of Joe and Jeanne (Stoffel) Blackman, was born May 26, 1955 in Mankato. She graduated from Good Counsel Academy, Mankato and Mankato State University. Judi married David Hopkins on March 2, 2007 in Kingman, AZ.
She was previously employed with Land O’ Lakes, Dr. Frette, DDS and District One Hospital.
Judi enjoyed playing golf, needlepoint and vacationing with family.
She is survived by her husband, Dave of Faribault; her son, Andrew (Stefanie) Byers of Faribault; step children, Tammy (Mark) Knutson of Medford and Rebecca Hopkins of Faribault; seven grandchildren; siblings, Steven (Nicole) Blackman of North Mankato, Janet Blackman of Thousand Palms, CA, James (Patricia) Bourne of Visalia, CA, Mark (Becky) Blackman of Oconomowoc, WI, and Daniel (Shannon) Blackman of Kodiak, AK; Craig (Sandy) Blackman of Maple Grove.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Jamie Byers.
