Mark W. Hill, age 67, of Elgin passed away on Wednesday morning, July 31, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. He was born on December 1, 1951 in Oak Park, Illinois and was the son of the late Russell & Ann Hill. Mark was a resident of the Elgin area for the past 19 years and a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Dundee and formerly was involved in Bartlett Boy Scout Troop #26. Prior to retirement Mark worked as a Sales Representative in the Trucking and Transportation fields. Survivors include his wife of 19 years; Joni McDonald-Hill and their son; Jordon. Other survivors include his brother; Russell (Sandy) Hill along with his in-laws, many nieces and nephews and countless good and faithful friends. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, East Dundee with Rev. Phillip Baerwolf, officiating. Interment will be private. Mark’s family will be receiving friends at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Please omit flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
