MacDonald in the United Church at Elmsdale (Montrose). In 1901 the family was still farming in Lot 4 of Prince County. On April 26 1901 the census enumerator described the property as 2 outbuildings and a 6 room wood-frame dwelling situate on 50 owned acres in Elmsdale. The enumerated residents and declared dates of birth were Henry (b:2-13-1866), Mina (b:6-25-1869) and Hughie (b:3-23-1897). The PARO Marriage Registry shows Hughie McLean Williams and Caroline "Carrie" Matthews were both residing in Elmsdale when they married on Jul 22 1914. The Jun 1 1921 census shows Hughie Williams (age 33) and Carrie (33), accompanied by their two children, Leonard (6) and Vera (3), continued to farm in Elmsdale.
