Born July 21, 1880, in Silver City, Utah, a son of John Harris and Agnes Baxter Rouse. Married Flora Emma Thorn in Farmington, April 10, 1909. She died April 9, 1941. He was a storehouse clerk for Kennecott Copper Corp., 37 years. Retired in 1953.
Survivors: three daughters, Mrs. N. P. (Maxine) Vanderwerff, Salt Lake City; Mrs. F. C. (Frances) Kolar, and Mrs. E. R. (Jane) Elswood, both Murray; 2 grandchildren; one sister, Shirley D. Rouse, Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother, W. S. Rouse, Pocatello, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held Monday 2 p.m., 36 E. 7th South. Friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday prior to services. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
