APRIL 29, 1954 ~ JULY 31, 2019 (AGE 65)
Teresa R. Cox, 65, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County. Teresa attended Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by infant son, Johnathan Wayne Cox, and parents, John and Louise McNew.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Ronnie Cox; son, Patrick Cox and wife, Dawn; daughter, Tammy Boling; 2 granddaughters, Kacie Boling and Kyndra Cox; sister, Darlene Hensley and husband, Jimmy; 2 brothers, James McNew and wife, Jeaneen, and Curtis McNew and wife, Libby; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm on Friday, August 2, 2019, at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Pete Smith officiating. The graveside service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm at Mill Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one’s choice
