Kevin Leslie Hobbs, 56, (formerly of Sanger), passed away at his home in Mesquite surrounded by his family. Born on November 1, 1963 in Sanger, Texas, he was the son of Rodney Charles Hobbs and Fredrick (Baucum) Hobbs.

Kevin served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sanger. On August 7, 1983, he married Marsha Kay Garner. Kevin was a truck driver for UVAR USA for 38 years.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Billy Hobbs. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife, Marsha of Mesquite; his mother, Fredricka Hobbs of Sanger; three daughters, Clarissa Ann Taylor of Forney, Tiffany Dawn Woods of Forney, and Barbara June Lynch of Red Oak; two sisters, Rhonda Adduci of Connecticut and Gwenna Proffer of Gainesville; one brother, Chris Hobbs of Sanger and ten grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Coker Funeral Home in Sanger. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday August 2, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Sanger.
