Thomas L. (Tommy) Alexander, 79, of Manhattan, KS, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018.

Tommy was born on January 10, 1939, in Leavenworth, KS to Emma M (House) Alexander and Lorraine B Alexander, Sr.

He graduated class of 1957 from Manhattan High School.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Tommy worked as a Carpenter and worked for several contractors around town. He also
worked for a pest control company for 10 years.

He was an avid fisherman and loved all sports.

Tommy is survived by his daughter, Rochelle Horne, of Martinez, GA, his three sisters, Bethine Hall, of Manhattan, KS and Lorita Fore, of Oklahoma City, OK, Elsa Morgan, of Manhattan, his brother, Charles Alexander, of Manhattan, KS, two Grandchildren, Brittany Horne, and Douglas Horne, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Lorraine Alexander Jr., Alvin R. Alexander, and his Step-mother, Flossie Alexander.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018, from 1:00 PM till 2:30 PM at Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home and Cremation.

In lieu of flowers memorials in his name can be to the donor's choice.
