He was the eldest son of Clifford O. and Ruth T. Howe. He graduated from Manhattan High School in 1972 and was employed at KP&L/KGS for 44 years.
He is survived by his brothers, David of McPherson; Carl of Sabetha, sister, Mary of Manhattan and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Floyd O. Howe, II. He was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and nature.
Services will be held Thursday, November 15 at 2 pm. at Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home, 1317 Poyntz Ave, Manhattan, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing. Interment will be private at Sunrise Cemetery Manhattan, KS.
