Steve passed away at his home on July 26, 2019. Steven Lyle Stone was born on Nov. 30, 1957, in Colfax, Wash., to James and Esther Stone. He grew up in Moscow, Idaho, before moving to Chewelah, Wash. Later, he lived in Hayden, where he owned his own logging business. When Steve was not working he enjoyed boating, camping and snowmobiling.
Steve is survived by his wife, Jenee Stone. He is also survived by his sister, Lois Fisher; sister, Gayle Barbour; brother, Gary Stone; daughter, Amanda Lyons; son, Adam Stone; and 11 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by brothers David and Raymond.
His funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019, at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will be held immediately after the service at his residence. To see Steve’s online memorial and to leave a message to the family, please visit www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
