June Terry, 90, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville.
She was born June 4, 1926, in East Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Floyd and Maude (Nolan) Chamness.
June married Dean M. Terry on September 9, 1944, in St. Charles, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 6, 2015.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Carpenter.
She is survived by five sons and four daughters-in-law, and one daughter: Roger Dean and Monika Terry of San Antonio, Texas, Richard Lee and Joan Terry of Rosewood Heights, Kenneth Wayne and Nancy Terry of Munford, Tennessee, John Robert Terry of Rockford, Illinois, Diana Lynn Truman of Osceola, Iowa, and Darryl Glenn and Lisa Terry of Edwardsville, Illinois; thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Mearl and Carl Chamness, and a sister, Marie Polich.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
