Mr. Daniel Levi Dodson, age 81, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Monday July 29, 2019.
He was born on June 19, 1938 in Rockmart, Georgia a son of the late John Britton Dodson and the late Charlsie Prvitt Dodson. Mr. Dodson was a United States Veteran having proudly served in the Unite States Air force. He had worked for 3m Copiers for many years and following his retirement he continued his trade working on copiers around the area. During WGAA'S Swap Shop he was known as "Dan the copier man".
Dan Dodson is survived by his son, Dale Dodson; daughters and sons in law, Monica & Kenneth Wolfenbarger and Angela Renee & Timothy Pitts; brother and sister in law, Ed & Billie Jean Dodson; sister, Arline Fears. Five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Daniel Levi Dodson will be conducted on Friday morning, August 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Mars Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday morning, August 2, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the Litesey Funeral Home.
The following Gentlemen are asked to serve as Pallbearers: Jason Dodson, David Dodson, Kenny Wolfenbarger, Derick Dodson and Ed Dodson.
The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Daniel Levi Dodson.
